By-M R Varma
Bhushan was a small trader. He had a general store. Daily he would pray the God and start his business with the confidence that his faith in God would shower His blessings to grow his business. At present, his business is running with profit. But Bhushan wanted more profit. He, therefore, started making his goods spurious for sale.
Apart from this, he would sell his goods by weighing them in weight machines and changed them. His income increased in the course of time. Believing that it is all because of God,s grace and began to worship God with more curiosity. Meanwhile, a regular visitor who bought goods from his shop had got a doubt and after having checked the goods he bought from him, found them less weighed and spurious and doubted which cast doubt on Bhushan and complained to customer office against Bhushan who was deceiving the consumers. The custom's official came to Bhshan' shop and Bhushan was shocked at his arrival. Bhushan was questioned about the way he was deceiving the consumers. But Bhushan remained tight-lipped without answering. Meanwhile, the officer seized the shop and imposed a penalty. Bhushan realised his mistake and pleaded God to pardon him and determined to do his business honestly in future.
We should remember that" God blesses us only when we perform our acts with sincerity and honesty."
